About Hip2besquare

Started in 2005 by Luke Owen. Some may know him better as Kippy depending on how you were first introduced. As a big Phish fan, Luke toured throughout the country. From his hometown of Berwyn, PA to Indiana, Florida and the northern most tip of Maine, it's been an ongoing experience. But like any music fan, he began to explore alternative sounds. First Wilco started to branch him out then came along this guy Stephen Malkmus (yes, his solo material came before Pavement for Luke). Eventually Hot Chip took over his life for a little while. But now that Phish is clearly back and is playing better than ever, he's ready to help bring together the world of Phish and the alternative / indie worlds. Lots of passionate fans share these spaces. They may not all see eye to eye, but their strive to make the world a better place by sharing in the groove brings them eventually together.
