I can only imagine that over time their live show will catch up to their studio performance. Keep in mind, just a year ago this band didn’t even exist and the only exposure the lead man was worried about was getting lucky with his girlfriend after she listened to the four song EP he put together for valentine’s day.

Just gave the album a listen, and was curious to how that would translate live. Can’t help but wonder if the band got bigger whether they could get more live talent on stage.
When listening to “The Reeling”, i was reminded a bit of the disconnected vocals one might find on an Avalanches track.

Agreed, the album is better then their live show but it’s tough to replicate what they did in the studio to the live stage. Energy is very important and since it was a home town show, I think this helped the experience. Would love to hear from someone who saw them in another city to see how the other shows went energy wise.

I like the album, and the hype, but I have to say, that was one of the worst shows I have been to in a long time. They don’t play that well together and his voice. Oh. My. God. I couldn’t believe it! BUT they are energetic.
