Bradford Cox’s side project, Atlas Sound, is releasing a new album on November 8th called Parallax but that isn’t stopping him from sharing his new tunes with the world right now. So far there have been roughly 4 tracks that you can either download or stream. This is a slightly different approach for Brad who’s typically more anti pre-release and prefers to hold his precious music tight to his vest. He’s even gone as far as create an entirely new B-side for an album that was widely leaked just to show up the people who leaked and downloaded the album that he, the artist, still has some control over when and how his music should be heard. Perhaps this new approach is a way for Brad to continue reaffirming the public that he does things on his terms and if he wants us to hear his music creations now, then so be it.
