So, went to see Phish this summer and had a great time. I think it did take them some time to get the tunes back under their fingers. Some of the newer material has grown on me a bit, but I don’t think Joy is much of a record at all; Stealing Time from the Faulty Plan can rock live though.

Been listening to a lot more Phish at work and find that it is amazing work music. If anything, I wish they would return to the writing prowess of the early days – there are no more epics being written …

And Chris Kuroda still doesn’t get enough credit

Giovanni, thanks for the suggestion. I’m always up for a good debate. I will find it hard to knock Jerry off my high pedestal as far as guitar players go, especially when it comes to soulful playing. I can put Jerry’s version of Shinning Star on any day and be a happy man.
